Connect the Bay takes a tour of longtime Peninsula landmark, the Stanford Linear Accelerator (SLAC) National Accelerator Laboratory. At this unique research facility, scientists explore how the universe works at the biggest, smallest and fastest scales and invent powerful tools used by researchers around the globe. Their efforts help solve real-world problems including solutions key to cosmology and climate change-related advances.
