Singing Frogs Farm uses an intensive, agroecological, sustainable model to grow nutritious vegetables. Farmers Paul and Elizabeth Kaiser use lots of compost to help their plants grow, and they have no need for pesticides, herbicides, or fungicides because of the levels of organic matter in their soil. They do not till their soil, and this keeps important soil components – including carbon – from being lost to the atmosphere.
